Learn Bugis Language: Possesive Pronoun (Belajar Bahasa Bugis, Kata Ganti kepunyaan)

Meet again in our lesson. At this time, we will learn about possessive pronoun in Bugis or Buginese Language.
Possessive Pronoun
We use possessive pronouns to refer to a specific person/ people or thing/ things (the "antecedent") belonging to a person/ people (and sometimes belonging to an animal/ animals or thing/ things).

Notice that each possessive pronoun can: be subject or object and refer to a singular or plural antecedent. More detail, see tabel as shown below:
Kata Ganti Kepunyaan
Kata Ganti Kepunyaan digunakan untuk menunjukkan sesuatu yang dimiliki oleh seseorang/ benda termasuk binatang.
Perlu dicatat bahwa masing-masing dari Kata  Ganti Kepunyaan tersebut dapat menjadi Subjek maupun Objek dan merujuk pada antesenden tunggal atau jamak. Untuk lebih jelasnya silahkan lihat tabel di bawah ini:

-mu /mu/, -ta /ta/
English: Your(s)
Indonesian: Punya Kamu, Anda

-mu /mu/, -ta /ta/
English: Your(s)
Indonesian: Punya Kamu, Anda
Third Person Learn Buginese Language (bahasa Bugis) for Her or His
-na /nɑ/
English: His or Her(s)
Indonesian: Punya Dia
-na /nɑ/
English: their(s)
Indonesian: Punya Merela

Notice that Possessive Pronoun in Bugis or Buginese Language is always putted behind the word followed or role as Sufix.

The Pattern likes this:

Noun/ Adjective  + Possessive Pronoun

For Examples:

Your Home (Yours)
Bola+Ku = Bolaku /bolaku/
where:
Bola - Home
Ku = your

Sebagai catatan bahwa, Kata Ganti Kepunyaan dalam Bahasa Bugis selalu diletakkan sebagai akhiran (sufiks) pada kata yang diikutinya.

Pola Katanya sebagai berikut:

Kata Benda/ Sifat + Kata ganti Kepunyaan

Sebagai Contoh:

Rumah Saya
Bola+Ku
Dimana:
Bola = Rumah
Ku = Kepunyaan Saya

Maeloki jokka I Aminah ri bolaku baja / mɑeloki jokkɑ I ɑminɑh ri bolɑ:ku bɑʤɑ/
English: Aminah will go to my home tomorrow.
Indonesian: Aminah akan ke rumahku besok.

(Maeloki Jokka = Will Go, I Aminah = Name of Person, ri = at, in, on, to, bolaku = my home, baja = tomorrow )

magapi na rionroi bolamu? / mɑgɑ:pi nɑ rionroi bolɑ:mu/
English: When your home can be occupied?
Indonesian: Kapan rumah anda bisa ditempati?

(magapi = When, rionroi = be occupied, bolamu = your home)

Buginese Language (Bahasa Bugis) Example2

Maega bale ri pangngempanna La Baco /mɑegɑ bɑle ri pɑƞempanna Lɑ Bɑco/
English: There is a lot of fish in his pond
Indonesian: Banyak ikan di kolam miliknya

(maega = much, more, plenty, a lot of, bale = fish, ri = in, pangngempang = pond, pangngempan+na = his pond, La Baco (name of person) emphasizes Na in pangemgempanNa)
